Salut Les Amis! As I gear up for the Who Knows EP release show later this week, I wanted to share a few recent happenings from my corner of the world:

Here are a few things worth sharing this week!

WXPN Local Radio — First Feature!
This Thursday at 1 PM, my music will be on WXPN Philly Local Radio for the very first time. Wild, right? If you’re local, tune in — I’ll be somewhere pacing around the apartment, grinning like an idiot. Check out the article below and make sure your calendars are marked for Thursday, Aug 28 at 1 PM EST!

EP Release Show — Aug 29 at Silk City
Friday’s the night! We’re headlining at Silk City Diner with Dual Identity opening, and the EP officially drops on all platforms the same day. Can’t wait to play these songs live and celebrate with whoever shows up.

Live Playthrough — Futon Sessions
We filmed a full live run of the EP at The Futon Sessions, and it’s now up to watch. Playing these songs live feels a lot like painting — every time you return to the canvas, it comes out a little different. Because so much of this music is improvised, it never fails to surprise me, especially with this group of musicians who keep pushing and responding in the moment. These versions are looser, more alive, and maybe even closer to the heart of what Who Knows is all about.

A Gift for You — Demo Collection
Here’s something just for newsletter friends: every month I record a rough demo, even when I’m not in “album or EP mode.” They’re messy, heartfelt little sketches — and I’ve been collecting them on Bandcamp. Think of it as a peek behind the curtain. https://ameyaxoxo.bandcamp.com/album/in-time

Thanks for letting me share all this with you. Sometimes it feels like I’m just tossing sounds into the universe, but knowing you all are listening makes it all so much more real.

With peace and insight (less so this time),
Ameya 🎸
