A New Album, Documentary Edits and More
Salut Les Amis! Getting back into the groove of things in Philly. Lots happening. Lots more to share! Go birds! 🦅
Here are 10 thing worth sharing this week!
1. Recording "Stubborn Elaichi" EP
I’m thrilled to be working on my new EP, Stubborn Elaichi, which will feature 5 songs. The project is coming together beautifully with an incredible lineup of talented musicians: Chet Williams on saxophone, Miguel on bass, Joab Alexander on keys, Dan Wilfred on drums, and Dave Thaker on guitar for a guest solo. It's been an inspiring journey so far, and I can't wait to share the music with you all.
2. Back to Teaching
I’m picking up lessons again, and it's been such a rewarding experience! I’ve been tutoring local students and working with 5th graders at a prep school near my house. It’s been a great way to pass on my knowledge and keep the passion for music alive in the next generation.

5. Building Connections in Philadelphia
Under the guidance of professional musician Taylor Kelly, I’m making strides to build connections and explore gig opportunities in the Philadelphia area. It’s been a great learning experience, and I’m looking forward to what the future holds in this vibrant music scene.
6. Diving into Jazz Literature
I’ve been diving into some incredible reads lately! Currently, I’m reading The Making of Kind of Blue and a book full of Jazz Anecdotes. Here’s one of my favorites: (Insert anecdote). If you're a jazz enthusiast, these books are absolute must-reads!
I’ve been sharing one song every day via my Instagram Broadcast channel, and it’s been so fun to connect with all of you through music. I’ve compiled all the songs from January 2025 into a playlist here. February is being updated as we speak, and if you want these updates in real time, be sure to join my Broadcast channel!
8. Mixed Audio from India Show
I’m super excited to share that I’ve just received the fully mixed audio from my first show in India at Gray Spark Audio! It’s been a long wait, but the sound quality is amazing, and I can’t wait to share it with the world. Stay tuned for the release!
9. New Gear and Upcoming Guitar Meditation Videos
I got 3 new analog pedals this week, and my pedalboard is finally coming together! I’ll be uploading weekly guitar meditation videos starting March 2025, and I’ll be sharing a full pedalboard walkthrough on my YouTube channel soon. It’s an exciting time to explore new sounds, and I can’t wait to take you on this sonic journey!
